Morgan was born July 2, 1989 to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. They raised her along with her sisters, Jeni and Jeri, in the Los Angeles suburb of Diamond Bar. Morgan played many games as a child but only began to play soccer when she was 14. Morgan was a member of the Cypress Elite club team and won the Coast Soccer League under-16 championship.
