 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian, and activist. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (since). In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was initially chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub is an Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. When she was two years old She and her parents moved to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to the family's financial difficulties the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She was kicked out of her sophomore year and obtained a GED. After that, she went on to receive the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
